GSH's for 5/19.. Might Meet FC Cincy Maybe, Ryan Jack Confirms Plan to Leave, Matchup vs. New England on Sunday.

When images are being made for a matchup that may not even happen. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Gaven, Schelotto, Hejduk: Three Crew SC-related social media topics of interest for today.

The FCC won't let me be

Well, we could play FC Cincinnati in the US Open Cup.

Which frankly I don't care one way or the other, but some do.

The chance to face Columbus in Cincinnati is an opportunity all fans in our city would enjoy. The Massive faithful have routinely diminished FC Cincinnati and our fans at every turn. Are the chances of an upset unlikely? Perhaps, but the chance to line up vs. the perceived “premier club” in our region doesn’t come along often.

Relax ๐Ÿ˜… perhaps? Link.

The chance comes along at least once a year as the powers that be seem to desire it.

In the poll on who to prefer to play, voted for Louisville City FC. ๐Ÿ˜ฏ

Just for personal reasons as their forward George Davis IV played for the Dayton Dutch Lions in 2010 when I worked there.

I struggle to watch the Riverhounds and their our partner, Martinez in his game for FC Cincinnati, so need a reason to check out.

But, thanks to the Crew's interest in all things US Open Cup over the years I just couldn't care much.

I desire any regular season win over New England or anyone much more.

Would settle for more Montreal-like away wins and Cincinnati could beat us 4-1. Couldn't care.

But, hey Massive faithful for the simple fact of why not let's make Nippert, Nordecke South, if it happens.

If not the chance will come up again next year.

A surprise to no one

Ryan Jack confirmed today he will leave Aberdeen this Summer and from recent reports it seems more than likely for Rangers.

But, still has until the end of the season (well next Monday ๐Ÿ˜„) to begin talks. A mind can be changed often while waiting.

Ryan's final regular season game with Aberdeen is on Sunday and will be against Patrick Thistle. Followed by a Scottish Cup Final on May 27th against Celtic.

New England on Sunday

Well, I'll just say I'm glad our team reporter is Alex Stec, lol.
