GSH's for 5/16.. Schmid, Klinsmann visit Guillermo at Boca. Ryan Jack Still on Rangers Mind

Schmid and Klinsmann visited Boca on the invitation of Guillermo this past weekend.

Gaven, Schelotto, Hejduk: Three Crew SC-related social media topics of interest for today.

Guillermo flies out Schmid, Klinsmann

To watch Boca's superclasico against River Plate and former DC United player, now River Plate manager Marcelo Gallardo this past weekend.

Did not go very well for Boca Juniors who lost 3-1, but are still in first in the Argentina Primera.

Sao Paulo blames their season on offseason featuring Crew?

Thoughts from SPFC writer, link:

"One of the great problems of São Paulo, I think this is the one, whenever you have "break" or "vacation", they mark these training games against no one. Sarasota and Boca Raton earlier this year, the Columbus Crew, who won the United States almost ten years ago and now against the West that does not arrive in the A2 knockout and is almost relegated to the third division of Brazil."

Rather odd but would you ever blame a bad MLS season on a bad offseason?

Maybe one should considering I can't remember who we played during 2016's.

I would like the 2017 offseason to become the usual if possible. Good start leads to a good finish. I'm hoping.

Pedro Caixinha has earmarked Aberdeen’s captain Ryan Jack as the player to give his side balance next season. Link. And another.

Crew SC was still mentioned in the above articles, but looks like Rangers are going for him with full guns blazing as well.
