GSH's for 3/13..

Well, at least the golden boot thing is back on track..

Gaven, Schelotto, Hejduk's: Are the top Crew contemplation's of today. If you're new to the Crew... Video example of what is a Gaven, Schelotto, Hejduk.

Quoteable:

"We're confident in our style of play and we know we're better than that." -Ola Kamara

Gaven...
Expected goals are not goals

The shot and chance quality, the Opta XGthroughout the game on Saturday had Columbus (2.18) above of Seattle (2.04), Philadelphia (2.00), their opponent that mopped the floor with them Houston (1.02) and even Atlanta United (2.14) who scored 6 goals! Link.
Then I don't know perhaps make a substitution or two at half in midfield and in attack, instead of at right back?!

Schelotto...
Crew fans too out of control after Houston game?

No.

Before Sigi Schmid got situated; 2016 was one of the worst seasons I've seen.

I couldn't remember a previous time where near the end of the season, at the end of work on Saturday's was annoyed because it was time to watch the Crew.

Like what? 😅 That isn't good.

Warzycha's seasons weren't even that bad.

You need to replace those feelings quick.

Not doing it Saturday.
No shit.
Hejduk...
Columbus gains another midfielder for three more years.

Columbus also recently finalized a contract extension with homegrown midfielder Wil Trapp that is designed to keep him with his hometown Crew for the next three or four seasons, according to the source. Trapp turned 24 in January and has played 95 regular season games with Columbus. His new deal could keep him in MLS and with Columbus through the 2020 season. Trapp made $178,250 last season, but that number will jump significantly under his new contract. Meram’s new deal required the use of TAM, and Trapp’s is extension may also fall into that category.
Trapp has been on the brink of the U.S. men’s national team pool and is still considered one of the top players in his age bracket in MLS. This season will be an important one for the midfielder, who is growing into a bigger role as he begins his fifth professional season.

Yeah well that's good and all... But, haven't been really impressed with Trapp, Abu, or Artur at defensive midfield.

Would just start Tchani alone, lol.

Put Hansen somewhere in attack, as he seems like he can finish a chance in preseason.

But, hey sign everyone. Wouldn't it be better to wait until after the season is over?
