Congrats to Meram, Deserved. Sauro. And International Duty. GSH's for 3/10..

Gaven, Schelotto, Hejduk's: Are the top Crew contemplation's of today. If you're new to the Crew... Video example of what is a Gaven, Schelotto, Hejduk.

"I think it's his maturity," Berhalter said of Meram's growth. "He really matured and understood what it takes to be a real pro. When I think about how he's improved, it's not just on offense, but also on the defensive side. It's impressive." Link.
Meram gets a nice payday.

Columbus did not reveal terms in its announcement of the deal, but the source said Meram's deal will pay him an average of $525,000 for each of the next three seasons, with an option for a fourth year at $725,000. Link.
Should be happy, happiness that is deserved. I'm sure that he is.

The longest tenured Crew player will stay as such, I'm glad that he will continue for at least three more seasons with Columbus Crew SC.

It's strongly important to keep the right guys around.

Congrats to him.

Sauro visit.
I'm interested what the plan is for Sauro? Because an improved line gets even better next year with him.

Would like Crew SC to work it for all parties involved in some manner. Think that's the Crew plan as they featured Sauro quite a bit on social media when there not exactly required to. Acura commercial, birth of child, and here.

Going about a tough injury for the player in the right way.

Justin Meram and Iraq will play against Australia and Saudi Arabia, and a win against both would definitely turn things around for Iraq, who are currently near the bottom of their qualifying.

Cristian Martinez, who had a successful U-20 tournament for Panama and has been called up twice to the senior team will not be called up to face the Americans and Trinidad and Tobago.
Ghana World Cup qualification doesn't begin until August, African teams have a bit of a break after AFCON, so Afful and Mensah will be available.
