Gaven, Schelotto, Hejduk's For 2/6

Gaven, Schelotto, Hejduk's: Are the top Crew contemplations of the day. If you're new to the Crew... Video example of what is a Gaven, Schelotto, Hejduk .

What else is going on right at this moment?
😃 Imagine that...

Happy 20th to the youngest player on the Crew Cristian Martinez. Give him a shout or a towel @CristianJM18

Gaven...
This afternoon, Crew fall to Ituano FC of Paulista A1, 2-1

The closer score could've been an improvement on the Columbus end and probably was.

Likely paired with Ituano playing two days prior (against San Andre in a 1-1 tie), as they played mostly their reserves against Crew SC today. Link.

Should give credit though for Ituano embracing the experience quite a bit. In a social media sense and as a result I'm sure otherwise.

Makes it more worthwhile for us as well. I would think.

In comparison, against Sao Paulo FC was mostly their fans and website paper writers, as well as photographers keeping us up to date on what occurred ASAP. As a rather big club.

SPFC did make a highlight video themselves, for themselves. 😉

An attempt to make Sao Paulo feel even more wonderful about being Sao Paulo, lol? What else could be the point of making a highlight vid for a rather meaningless friendly?

Against Gremio, the Crew almost achieved the closed door experience as score was barely mentioned near the bottom of a story on their website. Took until 3 PM for Crewture to find, for a game that actually did end that morning on the 3rd.

But give Gremio Osasco credit because they could've easily posted the full game on their Facebook (did for the game three days prior) or did highlights to impress their fans too. 😊

Another reason for praising Ituano from Crewture is more than likely this.

As the Crewture twitter spent about 3 hours on the top of a Brazilian soccer teams twitter page today. 🖒 Didn't think that would be achieved when this trip started so hey will take it.

Kind of f**king awesome.

Schelotto...
Only with the Columbus Crew, does a player get home sick and leave their contract years early... And get welcomed back to MLS with another club.

How does one say? Cómo se dice? Um.. What the crap?

If it was with the LA Galaxy... You know with that single entity thing, Garber would've been like enjoy the 2nd Division of Argentina.

Columbus, oh they still play for MLS?

I get if it was because of your kids and the situation not working out.. But, how is it any different now? Link.

Well, it's cool... Harrison Afful came out of that.

Hejduk...
The one thing the Crew could achieve from trip, probably was.

I think they got the team bonding down.

Especially since this is the first time in Brazil for most as a team. Or in general.

Definitely was an experience I'm sure.

Also, soccer isn't just a button that you turn on. In another month sure they'll be closer. I hope.

But, since this is the first time playing soccer for most in four months... Um scores will not be good in Brazil where they know how to play a bit of soccer. 😃

By mentioning the score I wasn't saying something was wrong with losing by a bit. Just think fans can handle it, lol.
