Gaven, Schelotto, Hejduk's for 2/13

Gaven, Schelotto, Hejduk's: Are the top Crew contemplations of the day. If you're new to the Crew... Video example of what is a Gaven, Schelotto, Hejduk .

Third time's a charm in Brazil..

In July 2015, Crew SC tried and just barely failed at getting the Brazilian defender Zeca. They were about two days away..

A new coach at Santos talked Zeca into staying... Ended up working for him as he went on to start every game for Santos since and played for Brazil in the Olympics.

Yet, the close call was enough to get the Crew SC and Berhalter's mind racing a bit on Brazil since.

In October 2016, Berhalter talked to a Brazilian midfielder Michel Ferreira Dos Santos face-to-face. But, Dos Santos ended up declining and instead went to Brazil Serie A third place side Gremio.

Which brings us to today. Third time is a charm for Crew SC and I'm hopeful Artur surprises a few.

A twenty year old Brazilian, who has three starts this season for Sao Paulo FC, a SPFC side that absolutely destroyed us this preseason 7-0. So, I would not be surprised if it works out even better than Artur spending the entire season at our affiliate, the Pittsburgh Riverhounds. Link.

The Riverhounds worked out for Martinez with a permanent move to Crew SC this year. Would be okay if similar occurs for Artur. But, expect perhaps a bit more, a bit quicker from Artur. As Brazil isn't Panama.
Welcome him on his IG at arturl33. Bem-vindo Artur!

The politician and diplomat King Harrison..

Who apparently had a meeting today with the US embassy and it's ambassador Robert Jackson.

Gave him a signed Afful Columbus Crew jersey. Nice. 🖒

No rush, they deserve a week or two off, but when does he and/or Mensah return to Crew SC? Afful's at least still currently in Ghana.

Crew SC gets prepped for Atlanta United at SuperKick this week..

Crew SC will be the first MLS team to face off against Atlanta United this preseason on Saturday in Charleston, SC.

I'm just excited to see a live stream and hopefully a much better performance score-wise compared to Brazil.

This looks good:
