We play Chicago Fire on opening day (so aka likely win) is that good enough?
|Mensah, get at me bro.|
1.) Columbus has to go after one offensive reinforcement correct?
We only have acquired four defenders so far.
I do hope that Ola Kamara has a magical sophomore year to coalesce with his freshman introduction. But, what if he turns out to be just a little bit human.
Adam Jahn and Dilly Duka. Ka-pow MLS.
So, I would be okay with.
Open up those checkbooks yo.
2.) Well, this is good kind of.
Under his current contract, #CrewSC would get no budget relief for Sauro, but would get full roster relief, including international slot.— Ben Ferree (@ben_ferree) January 10, 2017
So we still have one spot left open for Salomon Kalou.
As we all know it's Columbus, NYCFC for him.
I would be okay with adding another player to my AFCON viewing. 🖒
3.) Crew fans are starting to get antsy about who will put their business logo Arnold Palmer on Crew SC this year.
If it's nobody. I would pull a Barcelona UNICEF to a MLS degree.
Find a good cause, donate $10,000 a year. Talk about it more here.
4.) Let's spend a hot minute on the MLS Superdraft. Will try to get something in depth closer to Friday.
NBC Sports Nicholas Mendola has the Crew getting Forward Abu Danladi in the First Round at #5 from UCLA below.
Looks like a good player to learn from Ola.#columbuscrew #ccsc #Crew96 #mls MLS Combine, SuperDraft status report: Day 1 https://t.co/N8Dy7TP7aD— Columbus Crew Fans (@CrewNewsOnly) January 9, 2017
And Defender Reagan Dunk at #9.
If GA forward Jonathan Lewis from Akron drops a bit. I would like the Crew to get two starlet forwards in the draft at #5 and #9.
One may pan out and get considerable time 60-70 minutes on for Ola this year. Where with all the defensive signings we probably don't have another use for a rookie since we got Crognale.
But, have to get the best player regardless.
