2/16/2010: Notice- Crew Supporters Recording Session This Thursday

"We are the Crew, were going to win MLS.. Ohh yeeah"

From Crew Supporters Group, Crew Union:
Supporter's Recording Session

After a lot of discussion, it was decided it would be a good idea to get together and record a number of the supporter's songs to make them easier to learn and also try to increase the variety of our songs/chants. We've set up a recording session at Claddagh Irish Pub in the Brewery District on Thursday at 8pm for those that can make it. We 'll be compiling song sheets of our standard songs and some of the other ideas I've seen posted. If you have any ideas please bring them as this is the best time to try them.

We're just planning on drinking some beers and singing some songs so come on down if you can make it.

Here are some chants that could be sung at the sesh:

  1. One, two, three, four, five –
Once I caught a fish alive.
Six, seven, eight, nine, ten –
Then I let it go again.
Why did I let it go?
Because it bit my finger so.
    Which finger did it bite?
The only finger thats in sight.

(then we flip the bird to the away supporters)

  2. Haha, umm, that sort of sounds like a cheerleading chant from bring it on..

You know what would be better if we chanted that, then pointed to a plane, with just an up yours middle finger flying behind the plane. Since TFC always likes to hire planes to fly around our stadium.

Not to worry anyways. I doubt TFC brings more than a 100, since there all headed to New England.

Suits them well to find another rival since they'll never beat us.

  3. Sounds like a great idea. I can't make it but where will this be posted or where can a get a copy of the recording?

  4. 3. Anonymous, should be posted on all the Supporters Group pages, as well the Crew FO will receive copies of the mp3's so hopefully they figure a way to distribute them to a larger audience. I assume we will put them on Itunes and any other medium to spread them around as much as possible.

  5. Thanks for the info Blake
