1/16/09: Crew Draft Pick and Upcoming Season Discussion Video

From Crew Communications With Warzycha and Bliss:

Thumbs up on the video as it's nice to get insight from the coaches, especially six minutes worth.

**According to Shawn Mitchell's Article, "Crew's Top Pick is BC Defender," Gerstenberger was good enough as a teenager for Middlesborough, so is he good enough for the Crew?:
Gerstenberger, who turns 22 next week, left his home in Schenectady, N.Y., for summertime training in the academy of English Premier League team Middlesborough as a teenager. He was offered a youth contract with the club twice but did not have a European passport.

He now holds a German passport, thanks to his lineage. His grandfather was from Germany.

His dual citizenship would make it easier for him to be signed by a European team, but his goal is to sign with the Crew.

"I want the opportunity to prove myself, to earn a spot on a team that just won the championship," he said. "I'm looking forward to it."
